LIVE MUSIC @ TREEHOUSE NDSM: Laura Polence (LP) Band

Come by on Saturday July 9th to enjoy modern compositions and Latvian folk music that create a unique mixture of sounds and atmospheres. This performance will bring colourful off-the-grid pop tunes with joyous moments of improvisation.

 

About Laura Polence Band:

Laura Polence is a singer, pianist, composer and mime artist from Latvia. She received intensive musicaltraining in Riga from the age of 6 and in addition to singing lessons, she studied classical piano and choral conducting. Since 2007 she lives in Amsterdam. Over the years she worked with different musical ensembles and toured the world for a few years with the bands Snowapple, How Town, Kaja Draksler Octet and Latvian Voices. The expressive way of singing, playing and improvising makes the performance of the LP band theatrical, exciting and varied.
