LIVE MUSIC @ TREEHOUSE NDSM: YAN

On Saturday, July 16th, YAN will be closing off the Live Music at Treehouse NDSM for Over ‘t IJ Festival. Come join us and get your mind blown by YAN’s electronic music based on vintage synthesizers from the 70’s and 80’s.

 

About YAN

YAN is Jan van Eerd. Jan studied vibraphone and drums at the Royal Conservatoire and subsequently worked with artists such as Spinvis, Yung Nnelg, Ellen ten Damme, Hadewych Minis and Wende. As a producer he produced numerous albums and won an Edison for the album Mens van Wende. But now Jan is mainly YAN. Solo. The vibraphone and marimba are the heart of his productions, but are alternated with hanging, percussion and singing. YAN’s music is sometimes hushed and cinematic, but it can also be danceable and sturdy. Inspired by and in line with Jon Hopkins, Four Tet, Nils Frahm and Philip Glass.

 

OVER ‘T IJ X TREEHOUSE NDSM

From July 8th till July 18th, Over Het IJ will have their festival heart next to Treehouse NDSM. This cultural collaboration offers OverHet IJ’s traditional programme of the best of location theatre plus music performances by some of our most talented artists.

Treehouse NDSM crafted a rich programme specially for Over HetIJ Festival, consisting of 6 evenings of diverse musical excellence. After enjoying a day of adventurous art productions of current site-specific theater, come to Treehouse and discover live shows of modern folk, French speaking afro-house, jazz and more!
