GALLERY OF TONES | Workshop Makam with Cengiz Arslanpay

In deze workshop gaat Cengiz met jou op ontdekkingsreis naar de tonale rijkdom van een aantal basis-makams uit de vroege Ottomaanse muziek. Daarnaast gaat hij ook een aantal karakteristieke vormen van deze muziek analyseren en het hebben over het fenomeen taksim (traditioneel improviseren)

Met dit ticket heb je ook toegang tot het concert van Cengiz met Trio SonCé om 15:00

 

In this workshop, Cengiz will explore with you the tonal richness of some of the basic makams of early Ottoman music. In addition, he is also going to analyze some characteristic forms of this music and talk about the phenomenon of taksim (traditional improvisation)
