Workshop Papiersculpturen / Lydia Burgess

How do you capture water on paper, draw like a wave, move like ripples? This workshop guided by Lydia Burgess shares her process on how she made the artworks in “Tidal Waves”. Together we will embody the fleeting movements of the Amsterdam-Noord canals, drawing the projected films on paper, we will draw in a collaborative process, where the drawn lines will overlap and combine. After mapping this out we will cut out the final result, the cutting process, is a slow repetitive state, meditative like the movements of the currents ripples?
