Writing workshop on Climate action
Can we save the world with memes? is a writing and activist workshop lead by the artists Kiril Zakomoldin and Lova Yu

As part of the ‘Hear All Voices’ programme, Kiril Zakomoldin and Lova Yu will explore memes as a creative and engaging medium for promoting climate action in this workshop. Get ready to engage in the production of humorous and impactful memes that raise awareness and inspire positive change. The workshop aims to foster a sense of playfulness and encourage everyone who participates to leverage social media platforms for spreading climate-related messages.

Workshop Outline:

– Introduction and Icebreaker (15 minutes)

– Memes and Climate Action (15 minutes)

Presentation and discussion on the role of memes in raising awareness about climate change.
Explore examples of effective climate-related memes and their impact.

– Crafting Climate Action Memes (40 minutes)

– Sharing and Feedback (30 minutes)

– Strategies for Memetic Dissemination (30 minutes)

– Wrap-up (15 minutes)
